Nestled amidst the bustling streets of Ann Siang Hill, the newest outpost of Woaw Gallery represents the Hong Kong-originated art space’s inaugural foray into Southeast Asia. Occupying a charming corner shophouse unit, it aims to act as a meeting point and build a community for emerging and established artists in the region. Vibrant and playful, the gallery’s opening exhibition brings together works from 12 artists—many of whom are showcasing their art in Singapore for the first time. Titled As Partners & Friends, the show is, as its name suggests, a celebration of a tight-knit community.
