Bianca Nemelc (b.1991) is a New York City-based figurative painter, whose acrylic work is a manifestation of the artist’s investigative journey into her own identity, paying homage to her Caribbean heritage through the ravishing silhouettes of the tropical landscapes and the rich, brown hues of the sundry figures portrayed in her paintings.

She tirelessly deconstructs and reimagines mankind’s relationship to nature in an effort to gain new perspectives of her own existence, as well as to shine a light on her familial homelands and establish a deeper connection with the landscapes of her ancestors.
