Esteban Pérez (b. 1992, Quito, EC) studied at the Emily Carr University of Arts + Design (MFA,2021). He has participated in group exhibitions at AHVA Gallery, University of British Columbia, Vancouver (2021); No Lugar Quito (2018); and Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Quito, Quito (2017). His first solo show was at Más Arte, Quito (2019). He was the recipient of the Audain Travel Award in Vancouver (2020). In the same year, he won the second-place award in RAW, an MFA online exhibition, organized by the University of Montana, USA. Perez was selected for the Premio Brasil–Arte Emergente (CAC), an award funded by the Brazilian embassy in Quito for the promotion of emerging artists.
