Grant Levy-Lucero creates whimsical, tongue-in-cheek sculptures with a Pop art sensibility. Drawing on Greco-Roman forms, Levy-Lucero is known for decorating his handbuilt glazed stoneware with the iconography of recognizable brand logos, including for snacks, dog food, and beer. Since his first solo exhibition at Henry Taylor’s in Los Angeles in 2016, Levy-Lucero has exhibited in New York City, Paris, Shanghai, Seoul, and Los Angeles. His vibrant and irreverent vessels have earned him more than 13,000 fans on Instagram. Levy-Lucero draws inspiration from the hand-painted signs and advertisements he sees around Los Angeles. He has collaborated with the brand Acne Studios to produce a capsule clothing collection emblazoned with his text-centric illustrations.
